At One More Chapter, LLC, we are excited to offer a curated selection of used books to our customers. We take great care in selecting the books we purchase to ensure they meet our quality standards. Below is our policy for purchasing used books:
Books We Purchase
Genres and Categories:
Fiction: Including but not limited to literary fiction, romance, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and thriller.
Non-Fiction: Including biographies, memoirs, history, self-help, business, and cookbooks.
Children’s Books: Picture books, early readers, middle grade, and young adult.
Classics: Works of literature that have stood the test of time.
Rare and Collectible Books: First editions, signed copies, and out-of-print titles.
Condition Requirements
To ensure our customers receive high-quality books, we have specific condition requirements:
General Condition:
Books should be gently used and in good condition.
No missing or torn pages.
No writing, highlighting, or underlining.
Covers should be intact and free of major damage.
Binding:
Hardcover books should have intact dust jackets (if originally issued with one).
Spine and binding should be secure with no loose or missing pages.
Appearance:
Minimal shelf wear on covers and edges.
Clean pages with no stains, water damage, or mold.
No strong odors (e.g., smoke, mildew).
Books We Do Not Purchase
Damaged Books:
Books with missing or torn pages, excessive writing, or highlighting.
Books with broken spines, loose bindings, or pages falling out.
Books with significant water damage, mold, or strong odors.
Outdated Content:
Encyclopedias, outdated textbooks, and reference books with obsolete information.
Magazines and periodicals.
Specific Types:
Books with personalized inscriptions (unless of significant collectible value).
Self-published books unless they have notable reviews or demand.
